Women of color have created successful communities all throughout history. We have fed and nurtured nations, survived adversity and built economies and will effect meaningful change. The Kijiji Sisterhood will provide relevant and appropriate care and support for communities of color. Our focus will be to bring Black and Brown families together to support each other in our growth and advancement.

A Distinct Identity
We support Black people and our allies in Communities of Color in reclaiming the birth and parenting wisdom in our community. In acknowledging our innate power we will join together to build, protect, support, teach, celebrate and cultivate Black motherhood. The Kijiji Sisterhood will work to increase the health and wellbeing by improving birth and breastfeeding outcomes. By removing barriers to learning, support, and culturally appropriate health support we will build a system that improves the maternal and infant mortality in Black and Brown communities.

Our Melanin Milk Circle meets the first Sunday of every month at 4 pm, Las Vegas Urban League WIC. 3320 E Flamingo Rd. Ste. 50.

Kijiji Sisters Monthly Gatherings brings together families during a time of the week when we can all use a recharge.
